Fantasy hockey

Draft live with your crew, and let the standings compute themselves from official NHL statistics.

What is fantasy hockey?

Fantasy hockey is a league among friends where everyone builds a roster out of real NHL players. Your points follow what your players actually do on the ice: goals and assists for skaters, wins and shutouts for goalies. Whoever piles up the most over the season wins.

It all starts with a draft, where each manager picks players in turn. The season then does the rest, game after game.

The draft, live

You set the date and time. The pick order is arranged by hand or drawn at random, and the draw can be verified by everyone. The board fills pick by pick, at the same moment for each manager, whether the crew is around one table or spread across the province.

A snake draft flips the order every round: whoever picks last in the first round picks first in the second. Nobody is punished by their starting slot.

Standings compute themselves

No manual tallying. Official NHL statistics feed the standings, which refresh on game nights. A consolidation pass runs every morning to lock in the previous day's results, including the corrections the NHL sometimes publishes after the fact.

Your scoring, your rules

The base is the classic one: goals and assists for skaters; wins, overtime losses and shutouts for goalies. Up to eighteen more statistics stack on top as needed, from shots to hits to games played to hat tricks, each worth whatever you decide.

Optional extra rules sit above that: dropping each roster's worst picks from the total, capping how many points a single pick can bring in, and choosing the tiebreaker. Everything can be changed freely until the draft launches; after that, the rules are frozen for the season and nobody moves them mid-race.

Trades and public leagues

Open trade windows, scheduled ahead or triggered when you choose, to tighten the standings when the race stretches out.

Hard to find managers? Soon, you will be able to create a public league open to every other member of the platform, or join the ones they will have created.
