What is fantasy football?
Fantasy football is a league among friends where everyone builds a lineup out of real NFL players. Touchdowns, rushing and receiving yards, receptions: whatever your players pile up on Sunday becomes your points.
A draft opens the season, each manager picking players in turn. The rest plays out one week at a time.
One day a week, and everything turns on it
Football is the opposite of baseball. There are only a handful of games per team in a season, and a single appointment each week. Every Sunday therefore carries weight: one injury, one game without a touchdown, and the standings flip.
That is what makes a football league so tense, and why the draft matters more here than anywhere else. You do not recover through volume, you recover through one good pick.
Where football stands here
Under construction, said without hedging: hockey is the only sport served today. On the home page, football appears in the list of sports marked « Soon », and it cannot be chosen yet.
The engine is already running though: live draft with a verifiable pick order, scoring you set statistic by statistic, trade windows, automatic standings. That engine is what will carry football.
